Your Assignment:
1. In groups of 2 or 3...snoop through the Maclean's Website and select a Canadian University to research.
Note: You may also choose to research a trade school or any other college that is not mentioned in this magazine article.
2. Tell Ms. Echols which school/training program you are going to research (and who you are working with) Note: If you have not picked a school to research by next class, Ms. Echols will assign you something!
3. Assignment Critera:
- You will be creating a 1-page handout/flyer about your chosen institution that can be photocopied and given to each person in the class (including Ms. Echols)
- You will also be doing a 5 minute presentation to the class about your chosen/given school....
a) Who are they? (name)
b) What is the atmosphere/culture like?
c) Where exactly is the school?
d) Why would someone want to go there? (What is the school best known for?
e) How would you get there? (Entrance requirements, Cost...etc)
f) Anything else you think would be relevant
4. You will be assessed by your peers.
5. Due Date: Friday, June 10th (no lates, no exceptions).
